If you answered yes to all of that, then we would love to talk to you!

Location: Alpharetta, GA

Type: Full-time

Overview: Huddle is the leader in high school event tickets and marketing. Huddle Tickets launched in 2001 and has provided over 1.3 billion physical event admission tickets to more than 10,000 high schools nationally. With partners including Dick’s Sporting Goods, Fanatics, McDonald’s, and Panera Bread, Huddle has built a trusted reputation for driving local sales through innovative high school marketing programs.

Huddle recently launched GoFan, a platform allowing high school sports fans to purchase event admission tickets digitally. The GoFan App is quickly gaining traction in the high school digital ticketing space, creating a need for Huddle to hire a senior QA engineer. This is a chance for the right person to get in on the ground floor of a digital platform that is on the verge of extreme growth opportunities.

Overall Responsibilities: Huddle is looking for a Senior QA Engineer who will become a member of an Agile project team working to deliver a market-leading platform for digital high school event ticketing. This position will work closely with management to design and apply automated testing strategies and frameworks. Our projects are implemented using an Agile, Scrum-based process that includes Sprint Planning/Review/Retrospectives and daily stand-ups.

The Senior QA Engineer will be involved with all consumer web apps and a feature-rich management console designed for the schools and the Huddle team. This is not an average position where you will be restricted to one small component of the company’s technology, but one where you will have influence over the whole product testing suite.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • BS in Computer Science (or equivalent industry experience).
  • 5 or more years of QA engineering experience.
  • Proven experience building automated acceptance tests with technologies such as Selenium.
  • Strong experience with scripting tools and languages.
  • Experience working in an Agile process.
  • Practical knowledge of browser compatibility testing.
  • Solid experience working with web based user interfaces, mobile applications, and RESTful web services.
  • US Citizen or Green Card.

  • Unquestionable ethical standards.
  • Strong sense of ownership, pride, and urgency.
  • Team player.
  • Dedication to product excellence and software testing best practices.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to rapidly changing environment.
