The Technical Product Manager will be responsible for supporting the management of the GoFan digital product suite including the fast-growing consumer application and the feature-rich management console used by the schools and the internal Huddle team to schedule all events and product sales. The Technical Product Manager will also support the management of all digital advertising products.
Working collaboratively with the Sales, Accounts, Account Management, Finance, Marketing, and Technology teams, the Technical Product Manager will assist in defining, documenting, and prioritizing product features based on the needs of our schools, consumers, and advertisers. The role will also provide operational support for critical delivery issues, triaging reported problems and recommending optimal fixes. The ideal candidate possesses an innovative approach to product management, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a deep understanding of the digital platforms. He/she is able to work with a diverse group of individuals, and possesses an orientation to successful, on-time, on-budget product management. The Technical Product Manager will be responsible for assisting in the development and support of software systems including writing detailed multi-scenario functional requirements and business rules.
Identify and prioritize product needs from our internal teams, schools, consumers, and advertisers.
Define new products and product features to address those needs.
Inform and influence across organizational levels (horizontal and vertical) for new product work and feature upgrades.
Support operational and finance teams on triaging issues and reporting resolutions through Jira.
Communicate and Coordinate detailed multi-scenario functional requirements and bug fixes through ticket management solution.
Assist in the translation of product features into well-articulated Product Requirements Documents, including functional requirements and detailed business rules covering all usage scenarios.
Engage frequently with platform developers to lead technical deep dives, provide clarifications, and validate implementations.
Lead group testing sessions to uncover platform issues.
Seek out and interpret user feedback, analytics, and market research data to guide product development.
Perform competitive and marketplace analyses to assess trends and guide team to create the product road map.
